[Shirou's in the kitchen washing some dishes.]

What do you want for dinner? [It's not like he knows what Saber wants. For now, he's looking after Rin but Saber might be hungry. ]

[ Saber has been staring at Shirou, whether he notices it or not, sitting at the table, her eyes like daggers in the boy's back. She's not happy, not with these new revelations she's learned from Archer about the path Shirou has decided to take. He had given her the strength and courage to do something with the time she has, instead of returning to the time of her death.

There is no answer from her though, just staring. ]

[It'd be impossible for him to not notice Saber's glare. Shirou feels tense because of her. He frowns momentarily and then go back to washing the dishes. Saber's so mad and he can tell. This is his fault to begin with so he doesn't have the right to complain. He'll just take it upon himself and leave.]

If you don't want anything then I'll have to excuse myself.

[ Saber is easy to read, she's not a schemer. When she is upset with someone she makes it oh so clear. And while this really may be Archer's fault for making her feel suddenly untrusting of Shirou, she has no reason to believe that Archer lied about what he said. But she still needs to hear the truth of it from Shirou. ]

Wait, Shirou!

[ Before he can go she jumps to her feet, extending her hand out, commandingly. ]

I have heard a troubling rumor concerning you. I wish to know the truth.

Troubling rumor? [That's enough to catch his attention. Shirou isn't going anywhere.]

I'll tell you anything you want to know.

[ Without barely a movement, Saber's body explodes in a bit of prana, leaving her in her armor with Excalibur in her hand, surrounded by Invisible Air. She wishes to speak with her swords. ]

Draw your swords Shirou. I wish to hear the truth from you.

[Saber's actions don't surprise Shirou that much. This is what he deserves. It just makes him upset because doesn't want to fight her again. ]

Trace on.

[Kanshou and Byakuya appear in Shirou's hands. He's a poor magus so his swords are imperfect, but he's using them anyways. ]

You deserve to know the truth and I'm sorry things had to come to this. I don't want to fight you.

Your weapons are inferior replications, Shirou.

[ Saber doesn't attack, she's sternly studying the look on the boy's face, trying to see something, anything, that reminds her of the boy that she became so enamored with. ]

Archer told me you threw away your ideals, that you have become a mere shell of the man that I respected. Tell me! Do you wish to fight to protect your ideals, protecting others?

I discarded my ideals long ago, so no. [His answer was very simple. However, Shirou might cry at any moment. It wasn't easy for him to throw away everything he believed in.]

Archer warned me and said that I'd have no future if I went down this path, but that's fine. [He held onto his sword tightly.]

Saber, you understand don't you? That it's impossible to protect everyone. I only wish to protect what's important to me. [Shirou promised to help Saber too. She's still important to him, but he can understand why she's so frustrated.]

[ That was what she had feared. Saber had not wanted to have to hear such a thing from him, and it angers her that he would so openly state that.

When Shirou tries to commiserate with Saber, to reason with her, she looks like she might spit. ]

I had come to believe in your ideals, Shirou. I had sworn to you to see your ideals come to fruition. Rin and I both decided to support you. You have betrayed not only your ideals, but the both of us as well.

[ Shirou might not understand what that means for Saber to decide to stay in this world, to stay by Shirou's side, when the only reason she had become a heroic spirit was because she regretted her life. She wanted to see Shirou not have to regret his own, and become Archer in the future. And now she finds out that Shirou has given up all that. While maybe she should be taking into account the differences in his experiences, Saber has already decided that she doesn't like this path that Shirou has chosen. ]

Prepare yourself! [ And she dashes forward to slash at Shirou, not to kill him of course, but to speak with her blade better than she could otherwise. ]

[Saber didn't want to kill Shirou, but he sees things differently. All he can think of is how she wants to end his life. The thought of dying here is horrifying to him. His body moves instinctively and he desperately rolls over to the side in order to avoid her attack.]

I can never hope for your forgiveness and even an apology won't be enough to make up for everything I've done. There's no way for me to atone for my crimes. You can hate me as much as you like, I don't mind but...[He's still confused.]

It doesn't make sense. [The truth comes out.] My memories don't align with yours. All I know is that a dark shadow corrupted your spirit. You became my greatest enemy and I was forced to fight you, so why?

What happened to you? Please tell me Saber. [He doesn't understand how hurt she is and it makes him feel worse. ]

[ Killing Shirou is the last thing she wants to do. But she cannot abide by a man who would sacrifice his ideals like he has done. It makes her feel like she should second guess her own love for her country, something that she doesn't want to do. She doesn't want to believe she was completely mistaken in her faith in Shirou. ]

You have done none of things where I am from, Shirou. [ She follows his roll, but does not strike right away, pointing her sword at him. ]

But you have discarded your ideals! You have become a different man than I had come to admire and respect! I will make you see the error in your ways, even if it must be by force. You would have wanted that.

I followed you and Rin to the Temple. I watched you fight impossible odds, to prove that your ideals were just. And I... [ Fell in love with you? That's basically it, but she can't say it, instead striking at him again with Excalibur. ]

[Shirou pathetically defends himself. Saber successfully manages to injure him with Excalibur because Shirou can't dodge it this time. When Saber's blade strikes him it's like he's feeling her pain rather than his own.]

Saber. [His movements slow down and he focuses on his breathing. Shirou's just trying to keep his pain under control. Saber's sword hurt when she's serious. ]

I realized that my ideals will leave me with nothing. Why should I protect others if it means that I'll lose what I value the most? Is it a mistake to prioritize yourself over everyone? [Surprise, Shirou's got a sense of self. He isn't going to fight for noble causes and defend humanity anymore. This isn't the Shirou that Saber loves, but isn't gonna become Archer at any rate.]

[ This is not the Shirou she admires at all. This is not the man who defeated Gilgamesh, someone that she would have loved to kill herself. He's slow, and his projections are sloppy. She can only imagine what Archer would say of him. And it makes her hurt to see Shirou like this, almost a shell of the man she cares so much for. ]

[ She's surprised when her sword hits flesh, though not in any way that makes her feel better. She should be getting through to him, but it doesn't feel like she is at all. ]

Your ideals were good and just. Your ideals made others believe in you. [ Like herself, and Rin. She doesn't want him to become jaded and alone like Archer, but she doesn't like this either. ]

You have become a coward. [ Saber doesn't know the circumstances that led him to be this way, and how justified they might be. But she still doesn't like it, and it's difficult for a girl like her to understand it all. ]

[ Privacy is not so easily obtained in these tiny apartments and well, there is a third person never leaves. Rushing out of her room, she makes no indication of how much of the conversation she's heard, but reacts to what she sees. Shirou's injured, Saber's insulting him, and the solution is obvious to her. ]

Saber, as bearer of the command seal-! [ Holding up her hand for emphasis, the symbol begins to burn as she issues her order. ] You will not harm Shirou Emiya so long as he cooperates with me! Acknowledge my command and obey it!

[ ~~In before this Command also affects Archer.~~ ]

[Rin used a command seal and stopped Saber from fighting. What is she doing? She didn't need to use something so valuable. Ugh, Shirou will apologize to Rin later. He can't help but feel stupid. ]

Tohsaka? You don't have to go so far. [Look at yourself before you make any comments, Shirou.]

Saber, we need to stop. You know what Tohsaka's like when she's mad. Sorry for causing trouble. [He better be sorry.]

[ Saber hadn't exactly known Rin was there, she was quiet enough to forget apparently. So when she see the appearance of the blond girl in the room, she stops herself anyway, not wanting her to get caught in the fight. When she sees that command seal beginning to glow she looks wide eyed at her Master, as if unbelieving it. How the tables had turned, from the first spell that had been used on her before... ]

Rin... [ She starts to speak, but bites down instead to think for a moment. ] ...I will not harm Shirou Emiya, so long as he cooperates with you.

[ She didn't want to hurt Shirou. Not really. She loves that redheaded idiot, even if she can't say it. She just wants him to wake up, and be the man that she cared so much for. Straightening her back, Saber returns her invisible blade to it's it's place, before popping out of her armor and into her normal clothes. ]

I am sorry as well, Rin. I acted without thinking... [ Saber knows she should be better than that, but when it comes to her feelings... ]

It's funny you say that now while you're bleeding all over my floor. [ Sighing, she holds her hand not quite used to the pain. It felt real... and then it cements in her mind that this was realer than anything in the Moon Cell. ] And Saber-!

You know better than to pick on the weak and the stupid!

[ Sorry Shirou. Not that she stops there; knowing she stands no chance against a fully powered Heroic Spirit and another Master, she holds up a hand to type... mid-air? It looks kind of stupid really, but once the code release_mgi(b); has been activated, the AOE stun will spread out in the room.

At least she's not lighting them on fire?? ] What's going on between you two-?! Saber, you're usually better composed. Emiya, you're stupid, but not stupid enough to fight a Servant on your own!

Hm, I can't argue against that because I look pathetic now. [Shirou just grumbles at that and checks his condition. He's bleeding and it hurts, but it's not something he can't deal with. Thank you for not setting them both on fire, Rin.]

That's not necessarily true. [He fought so many Servants on his own.]

Saber and I have our differences and we let it go too far. Isn't that right, Saber? [At least agree with him on this one thing...]

[ Her name being yelled like that makes Saber just look like a scolded puppy. She had definitely acted out of turn, and in a way that could affect her Master. She had forgotten herself for a moment, and let her emotions get the better of her. She is ashamed.

The Stun does...little to nothing to Saber. Thanks magic resistance. But she does understand Rin's anger with her, and only looks more embarrassed. ]

I apologize.. [ She wants to explain Shirou's change, how he is not the man she...cares for, but Shirou gets his words out first, and she's unsure of whether she should still explain or not. Eventually, she just decides to nod slowly. ]

Shirou is correct. It will not happen again, Rin.

[ IF SHE KNEW HOW TO SET THEM ON FIRE, SHE WOULD HAVE. TRUST HER. Fortunately there will be no fried Emiya to ship home to Sakura today... only bloody Emiya. ]

And you're still arguing with me, god what is wrong with you, Shirou Emiya!! [ Don't answer that. ]

Ugh! I can't send you home while you're bleeding like this. Miss Sakura will be upset and I'll never heard the end of it so... [ Pointing to one corner of the room. ]

Saber, go over there!

[ And to another: ] Emiya, you take that one.

And Archer I know you're there so you better get in the third corner I swear-!

I don't see why I'm being punished.

[But doing as he's ordered. What a disembodied voice though. Totally refusing to be visible.]

[ Things had really gotten out of control, and Saber couldn't contain her emotions. So now she has to slink off to one of the corners of the room, like a scolded puppy. She doesn't think to talk back, just obeying as a Servant should. Once she's in the corner though she tries to put the blame on herself, instead of Shirou. ]

The fault lies on me, Rin. You may punish me as you see fit, but please, let Shirou...and Archer go.

[ She adds in Archer, because she does think he did something of a good thing for telling her the truth of the situation here lately. Plus he cooks. ]

[Shirou doesn't get why Archer's in trouble either. He's just gonna shut up and go to the corner.]

It's fine Saber, I'm at fault too. [It actually isn't fine, but he isn't gonna let Saber take the blame for that. He's too stubborn.]

[ He's in trouble for standing around and watching this all happened. Clearly. As a Servant, it's his duty to interfere in these matters and yet here he is, just playing witness to them instead. ]

When you're in the corner, you're not allowed to speak. That's the purpose of a time out. [ Maybe once they stop acting like children, she won't have to wave around this sudden maturity!!!! ] So stand there and think about what you've done.

... Emiya, you can sit since you're bleeding. [ SHE'S NOT EVEN GOING TO HELP HIM WITH THAT. ]
