That's because Emiya is a shortsighted idiot that doesn't know anything about girls because he's dating a walking cliche of Japan. [ Swinging the bat and hitting the ball, though she doesn't actually knock it too far. It gets caught in the net and slowly falls down as expected. ]

Sorry, that was rude of me to say. I just mean to say that Emiya probably bases a lot of what he thinks of girls on the one he's in love with. Miss Sakura is kind, soft spoken and dresses moderately. She also cooks and cleans, likely doing a fair number of the chores for him at home.

Being compared to that means I stick out like a sore thumb! [ With another swing, she hits the second ball straight on and into the net it goes. ]

About how I viewed him.

It's natural for a boy surrounded by girls to question their feelings for him, but I'm not into boys with more baggage than an airport security check-in. I had to kick him out and tell him several times I had no interest in him that way.

I think of Shirou as someone I will continue to want to protect. That duty of mine will not go away. But I do not hold romantic feelings for him, if that is your question.

If something is to develop, we should keep in mind that Sakura feels for him and she feels strongly for him. It'd be odd to get in-between that.

[ There's a small part of her...that maybe is jealous. Because as much as Saber wants to think of herself as mature and wisened, she's still very much not in many ways. But she simply ignores the feeling. ]
